Have you got your Halloween plans sorted? 🎃

There’s still time to get your costume ready for Halloween at The Ship this Saturday, 31st October!

Join us around teatime for some family fun in our Harry Potter-themed room, before the pub becomes adults only from 8pm. Our Halloween party starts at 9pm, with a DJ providing the soundtrack to your evening.

We’ll be dressed up and looking out for the best costume, with vouchers and a Ch*****ne drinks package for the winner’s table up for grabs. 👻🥂

Making a night of it? Book in for our “steak through the heart” steak-and-w**e offer: two meals for £50, with extra choices and add-ons available.

We need to talk about dogs...

For many of us, Bonfire Night means fireworks, celebrations and an enjoyable evening.

But for our four-legged family members…it can be one of the most frightening times of the year.

That’s why, from 2nd–7th November, The Ship will be hosting Paws & Peace Week.

We won’t be holding any firework displays.

Instead, we’ll be creating a warm, welcoming and dog-friendly place where you can escape the celebrations, settle in together and enjoy a relaxed meal away from the worst of the noise.

Your dog doesn’t need to be left at home feeling frightened, and you don’t need to spend the evening worrying about them. Bring them along, find a cosy corner and let us look after you both.

Our dog menu will also be available, so they can enjoy a treat of their own.

If your dog struggles during Bonfire Night, we hope The Ship can offer you both a calmer place to spend the evening.

Halloween at The Ship is going to be a big one! 🎃👻

Join us on Saturday 31 October for a full day of spooky fun, beginning with our Harry Potter-themed room for families and children around teatime.

From 8pm, the pub becomes adults only before our Halloween party gets underway at 9pm, with a DJ keeping the music going throughout the night.

Fancy dress is strongly encouraged—and our team will be dressing up too! We’ll be choosing the best costume of the evening, with vouchers and a drinks package featuring Ch*****ne for the winner’s table. 🥂

Before the party begins, get stuck into our special “steak through the heart” steak-and-w**e offer: two meals for £50, with additional choices and add-ons available.
