We are absolutely thrilled to share that last night Compamigos won Local Family Food Retailer of the Year at the Lots for Tots Awards 🧡

To be sat in a room full of such inspirational people and businesses who put supporting children and families at the heart of what they do felt pretty surreal. If we’re honest, we felt a little out of place. But then we realised Compamigos is exactly about that… family.

Creating somewhere everyone feels welcome whether you’re 1 or 101. Whether you’re new parents wanting somewhere comfortable to go, teachers looking for a night off, or families wanting a safe, relaxed place to enjoy really good food together.

We always try to make children feel just as important around the table as the adults, and we love creating events and experiences that become special memories for families.

So when Rich was called up to collect the award, we were genuinely shocked but incredibly proud. It means so much to know the hard work from our whole team has been recognised across Derby and the surrounding area.

Thank you to every single person who supports us, visits us, recommends us, celebrates with us and brings your families through our doors. We honestly wouldn’t be here without you 🧡

Our Open Mic is back on the first Sunday of every month from 5pm, hosted by David and The Moores. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where anyone can get up and play, or simply sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.

You don’t need experience, just a love for music and a willingness to share it. Some come to perform, some come to listen, both are just as important.
