As promised... the £100 left over from donations has gone to Steve Podmore at Heart Start Mossley towards their next defibrillator.

Hi Everyone! 🤗
The £100 will be donated to Heart Start Mossley.
I will get Steve Podmore to collect it when he's free & I'll ask him for a receipt so I can show u all that he's received it.
I'm glad to be honest as he got us the defibrillator & bleed kit VAT free at a cheaper price & he also got it installed for us completely free of charge so I think his organisation deserves it.
Thank you all for commenting etc.
I will do another post shortly when Steve has collected the money & gave me a receipt.

Hi everyone... I'm in need of help with a big decision off u all as a community please.
After paying for the defibrillator & bleed kit ( I paid for Sonnys' brass plaque out of my own purse) I still had £96 remaining in donations so I've rounded it up to to £100.
Please comment where u all think the £100 should be donated to.
However, I'm excluding Cancer Research & the Royal British Legion as I feel they've had enough from myself & others over many years.
The most comments for the same charity will be the one I choose to donate it to & I will show proof of the donation as soon as I receive it in writing.
If u decide to choose West Mids Air Ambulance please just comment with a red & yellow heart.

So a very emotional day today for me as our defibrillator & bleed kit was finally installed here at The Swan. 🥲
With big Thanks to Mark & Tom Hateley & Steve Podmore (Heart Start Mossley) for the provision & installation.
This would not of been possible without the help of donations from all of us & our family, regular customers & friends.
With extra special Thanks to Anthony Barratt & Louise Higginson & Angela Lawrance from The Sandwich Shop in Willenhall Town Centre for their huge donations. 🤗
As you can all see, I paid extra for a brass plaque in memory of our Sonny to make it that bit more special.
