Here at The Plough we offer exceptional quality affordable room onlyaccommodation in the Leicestershire / East Midlands region. All of our rooms are ensuite and consist of sixtwin rooms,and one family room with a maximum occupancy of three people. All rooms also have tea/coffee making facilities, iron and ironing boards, colour television with Freeview, hairdryers & trouser presses. The annexe for the rooms was built in 2004 and all rooms have been designed with the comfort of our guests in mind. Disabled access is available and coach parties are very welcome by prior arrangement. Located just of the A599 [old A50] next to All Saints Church on the B582. The Plough Inn, Wigston, Leicester, East Midlands offers a comfortable stay in a traditional English pub. Leicester city centre is just ten minutes drive away with the Leicester tourist information providing information on local attractions such as the Wigston knitting museum, Leicester Race Course, The Leicester Tigers Rugby Gound, Foxton Locks and the Grand Union Canal, along with the National Space Centre - all within easy reach.

EXCITING NEWS! Per our last post, we are taking part in the 2026 pass the poppy event, we have arranged for the poppy to be collected from us at 5pm by the amazing Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service Wigston. Bring the kids to come and see the fire engine up close!

In other news, our raffle prizes are starting to come together for our fundraiser, thanks to my lovely mum for making these christmas hampers! We are still on the hunt for more prizes, any donations would be greatly appreciated, all donations will be going directly to the RBL. You can purchase your raffle tickets behind the bar, more prizes and announcements to be made so keep your eyes on our page. 💕

Raise a Glass is back🍻
Our limited-edition commemorative glasses are available in pub until the 11th November, helping us raise vital funds for the Royal British Legion. Featuring a special poppy design by Army veteran and artist Jane Wilkes, every glass helps support the Armed Forces community. ❤️
