What a wonderful month May has been for our team at The Hive ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’š

Weโ€™ve been busy enjoying lots of meaningful activities including bird watching, animal enrichment, saddle soaping, woodwork, horticulture, feather friends portrait art, tortoise shell cleaning, bonding with our baby cow Gail , animal therapy sessions, and spending time with incredible birds of prey.

Along the way, our team has continued building important skills in teamwork, confidence, and personal progression, all while having fun, finding calm moments, and lots of happiness.

Weโ€™re so proud of everything everyone has achieved this month and canโ€™t wait to see what June brings ๐ŸŒฟโœจ

Price Increase reminder as it starts tomorrow ๐Ÿ’š

๐Ÿšœ AppleCast Farm Entrance Fee Update ๐Ÿšœ

From 1st June 2026, there will be a small change to our vehicle entry prices:

โ€ข ยฃ6 Farm Entrance (up to 5 people in one car)
โ€ข ยฃ1.00 per additional passenger
(e.g. 6 people in one car = ยฃ7.00 total)

As a charity, this small increase helps us continue to care for our animals and maintain the farm for everyone to enjoy ๐Ÿ’š

Every visit truly makes a difference, and weโ€™re so grateful for your ongoing support and understanding.

Please please please only feed our animals with the grass pellets sold by us and do not feed anything at all to the animals that have a do not feed sign on them.
Our animals are our family we want to protect them as much as we can.
Many of our animals have health conditions and are getting on the older side. It is heartbreaking for us when people ignore the signage that we put up and cause pain and suffering for our animals.
Our animals welfare is our priority but along side this we try to give an affordable experience to our community. With added vet bills that could be avoided like today make this hard to do.
Please just look first and if you see a sign please respect what we are asking.
