Hi everyone,

Firstly, I just wanted to apologise for the lack of updates over the last few days — it’s been incredibly busy behind the scenes getting everything ready for reopening this weekend! It’s been all hands on deck, but I promise it’s going to be worth it 🙌

**Thursday night is our soft opening**, which will be limited in numbers and **invite only**. We know you can’t wait to see it… but it’s only one extra sleep! 😍

Our **Grand Reopening is Friday**, with a special **ribbon cutting happening at around 4pm** — I’d love to see as many of you there as possible to mark the moment properly ✂️🎀

Here’s what we’ve got lined up for opening weekend:

🎶 **Friday Night – Live Music** to kick things off in style
🎧 **Saturday – DJ playing all the best tunes from the 80s right through to now**
⚽ All the live sport
🎯 A brand new dartboard
🎱 Pool table ready for action

And of course our NEW snacking menu with…
🍕 Freshly cooked pizzas
🥘 Our filled curry naans

I honestly can’t wait to welcome you all back and show you how amazing the pub is looking. Thank you so much for your patience and support — it really does mean the world.

I’ve been completely overwhelmed by the number of messages and phone calls I’ve received over the past couple of weeks — thank you all so much for the love and support.

I think we can all agree it’s been a long three weeks with our doors closed, but the wait is almost over! Myself and Mia can’t wait to welcome you back, along with a whole new team, as we begin this exciting new chapter.

Unfortunately, Jordan has sustained an injury and won’t be with us at the start of our new journey. He’ll be back behind the bar as soon as he’s fighting fit — we’re all sending him lots of love and wishing him a speedy recovery.

✨ **We’re Back! – A Message from Beckie** ✨

Hi everyone,

I’m so excited to finally share that **The Freemasons** will be reopening on **Friday 27th February at 12pm** following our refurbishment — and it looks absolutely beautiful! I honestly can’t wait for you all to see the new and improved pub.

We’ll also be holding a smaller **soft opening on the evening of Thursday 26th February**. If you’re one of the lucky ones getting a sneaky peek, either myself or one of the team will be in touch very soon… 👀

When we reopen you can expect:

❤️ And plenty of community spirit

3 days and counting until our doors close for our refurb! 🚪
We’ll be closing at 11pm on Sunday 1st February, I will keep you informed on the details of our grand reopening.
Three weeks doesn’t sound like a long time, but we’re really going to miss you all. Seeing your faces every day has become part of who we are. Over the years we’ve shared laughs, smiles, tears and hugs — and that means more to us than we can say.

While we’re definitely looking forward to some well-earned rest 🤣, we cannot wait to reopen our doors, catch up with familiar faces, and welcome new ones to get to know in the future.

We’d absolutely love it if you could pop in over the weekend before we close, and then get ready to welcome the new and improved Freemasons Arms 🍻✨
