Unbelievable! Three months since our Facebook ad account was hacked, just a few days before our UK tour starts, we've been hacked again!

Account suspended. Unauthorised payments taken from our account. A suspicious "bad actor" hacker account / bot has taken control of our boosted reel of our video, with the link to buy tickets for the tour, and overlaid an advert (of Chinese origin?) selling bejewelled ladies' sandals, and upped the budget from £140 to £5,000!

This then quickly burns through any credit you have in your ad account fund, and starts taking card payments from your bank account. BEWARE!

So, back to square one with the slow climb through the ranks of lowly Meta "support" staff, until you get to speak to anyone who can actually help at all. It took two and a half months, and a great deal of waiting time and stress for that to happen last time. So I'm not hopeful for a quick resolution here...

Once again, I must ask you, dear friends of Topette!!, to help spread the word, as we embark on this tour celebrating the release of the new album Tazon. It's Andy Cutting's final UK tour with the band, and the first time out for us with our brilliant new percussionista, Laurence Hunt. We really can't wait...

Totally forgot it was Whitsunday last weekend! Many years ago when the kids were still very young we went off in our campervan to Bampton for the weekend. Of course we went for the Morris dancing. It was lovely to see this again on my friends page!

Celebrating our 2nd year on Facebook. Thank you for your continuing support. We could never have made it without you. 🙏🤗🎉

We are still meeting every 3rd Wednesday of the month in the Wickham Skeith Village Hall. It’s always a fun evening, learning new dance skills, getting it wrong, having a laugh with everyone! We don’t take ourselves seriously but we do take our dancing a bit more seriously lol! A great evening last night trying to learn a new dance with elements we have not done before.
