Well, here’s a lovely explanation of what we do on a 3rd Wednesday of the month in Wickham Skeith Village Hall! May not be a big band, hundreds of people but this is what we do and have a lot if fun doing it!

Come and join us on Wednesday 16th September 7pm to 10pm

September is almost here and we will soon be back in the village hall dancing! I’m hoping some of you may have gone along to a festival or barn dance during the summer and are raring to go!

Just a reminder we meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month in Wickham Skeith Village Hall. We start at 7pm and finish at 10pm with a short break at some point in the evening. It is a £5 entry for adults over 16 and includes refreshments. You do not need any experience or a partner but by bringing a friend it could be more fun! We don’t take ourselves seriously and dance English, Irish, American ceilidh dances some dating back to the 18th century and some modern.

Here are some dates to look out for….

Wednesday 16th September
Wednesday 21st October CEILIDH!!
Wednesday 18th November
Wednesday 16th December Christmas Social

Coming a cinema near you!

Enjoying the school holidays? Can’t wait until you can do something you want to do? Not long now until our September meeting!

We meet at Wickham Skeith Village Hall on the 3rd Wednesday of the month to enjoy an evening of music, dancing and laughter. No experience is necessary as we have an experienced caller who will go through the dances. It’s just £5 for the evening and if you want to bring your children that’s fine as under 16s are free!

Watch out for the special Ceilidh we are having in October!
