A very special presentation at Hotel Victoria today 💙⚓️

We were thrilled to welcome members of the Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby RNLI to Hotel Victoria today for a very special occasion.

Neil Williamson, Whitby RNLI Museum Curator & Launch Authority, presented James Hutton with a Certificate of Thanks from the RNLI, recognising his dedicated and longstanding support.

Over the past five years, James has single-handedly raised more than £10,000 for the RNLI in Staithes and Robin Hood’s Bay — an absolutely fantastic achievement supporting the lifesaving work of this incredible charity. 👏

It was a real pleasure to host the presentation and celebrate James alongside members of our local RNLI community.

Huge congratulations, James — very well deserved! 💙

Meet Amy – our Head Housekeeper❤️
As we celebrate International Housekeepers Week, we’re introducing you to the wonderful team who work their magic behind the scenes at Hotel Victoria. 💙

First up is the lovely Amy, our Head Housekeeper.

Amy is the person keeping everything (and everyone! 😄) organised behind the scenes. She leads our housekeeping team with a smile and takes enormous pride in making sure every room is beautifully prepared and ready to welcome our guests.

It’s the little things that matter to Amy — those finishing touches that make you open the door to your room and immediately feel at home. 🛏️

So today, it’s a BIG shout-out to Amy 👏💐

Thank you for all the hard work, care and attention you put into Hotel Victoria every single day. We’re very lucky to have you as part of our Victoria family. ❤️
