Abbeydale & Woodland Brewing’s Hop on the Pen*stone Line arrived last night and it’s been a hit from the very first pint.

This easy-drinking pale ale delivers bright citrus and tropical fruit aromas, balanced by gentle floral notes and a crisp, refreshing finish. Smooth, flavourful and incredibly moreish, it’s the perfect pint for sunny afternoons and great company.

First up, Roosters Brewery’s Easy-Going Assassin — a deceptively smooth and refreshing pale ale packed with bright citrus hops, light bitterness, and dangerously easy drinking. Easy by name… assassin by nature 👀


Alongside it, Abbeydale’s Doctor Morton’s VAR — a Mount Hood hopped pale ale here to ease the misery of constant kicking by becoming a Verified Ale Recipient. Crisp, balanced, and packed with floral and spicy hop character. It’s a game of two halves… no wait, that’s a pint 🍻
