We're incredibly lucky to have such a fantastic team across The Fat Tap, Fat Head Brewery and Tap One. The hard work, passion, and dedication they put in every day are what make these venues such special places.

We know it's been a while since you've seen Captain Fathead on the bar, but good things come to those who wait.

Rather than simply bringing back the old recipe, we've spent time in the brewhouse refining and improving it. We've been working hard on our water profile and tweaking the recipe to create a beer that's even juicier, softer, and more flavour-packed than before.

The result? Everything you loved about Captain Fathead, but with a smoother mouthfeel, bigger hop character, and an even more tropical, juicy finish.

This isn't just a comeback. It's an upgrade.

We were lucky enough to welcome Graham Dunbavan back into the brewhouse to help create something seriously hop-forward, inspired by his legendary days at RCH Brewery. Expect big aromas, bold flavours, and a healthy dose of brewing nostalgia packed into every pint.

It's been an absolute pleasure having Graham join us for this special brew, and we can't wait for you all to try the results.
