What a brilliant, funny evening at The Kings Arms! 😂🍻

A massive congratulations to Binda and Caroline, our Mr & Mrs champions! 🥂🏆

❤️🎤 MR & MRS – MEET OUR NEXT TWO COUPLES! 🎤❤️

The competition is heating up, Offham! 🔥😂 And this time we’ve got a couple with some very interesting career histories and another couple who’ve been married for an impressive 44 YEARS! 😍

👏 FIRST UP: JUNE & TREVOR! 👏

Trevor is still working as a retail manager, mainly selling beds… so hopefully he knows a thing or two about getting comfortable! 🛏️😂 Although his official title is a Horizontal Leisure Technician… which sounds a lot more exciting! 😏🤣

Before that, he was a lift engineer, so he’s clearly had plenty of experience taking things to another level! 🛗😂

June works with adults with learning disabilities at Spadeworks, having previously worked in Greenwich. She also used to be an Operating Department Practitioner in an operating theatre before changing career direction around 20 years ago. ❤️

A couple with plenty of life experience… but will they know each other as well as they think when the questions start? 👀😂

👏 NEXT UP: STEVE & WENDY! 👏

These two have been married for 44 YEARS! ❤️ Now that’s either true love or they’ve just got very good at putting up with each other! 😂🥂

Steve spent 29 years working in banking before becoming a school bursar for another 9 years. Wendy also worked in banking for 13 years, where she actually met Steve at her very first job! 🏦❤️

After leaving work to raise their two children, they’ve lived in Aylesford, Leybourne, Grove Green, Sevenoaks and have spent the last 10 years right here in Offham. 🏡

After 44 years together, surely they should know everything about each other… shouldn’t they? 🤔😂 Or are we about to discover that Steve still doesn’t know Wendy’s favourite things?!

🤣❤️ MEET OUR NEXT TWO VICTIMS… SORRY, COUPLES! ❤️🤣

The Kings Arms Mr & Mrs competition is getting bigger, and we’ve got two more couples brave enough to put their relationships on the line! 😂🍷

💑 SIMON & TERRI

✍️ Simon is a famous author and creator of men’s wellbeing initiatives… so he knows all about looking after men’s mental health!

💇‍♀️ Terri owns her own hairdressing salon, so she knows how to handle a crisis with a pair of scissors!

But can Simon write his way out of trouble when Terri finds out what he REALLY thinks? And will Terri be giving him a makeover if his answers are wrong? 😂✂️

💑 MARK & MARIA

🔧 Mark works for an M&E company, so he should be pretty good at fixing things…

🏛️ Maria was a schoolteacher and is now a councillor, so she’s used to keeping people in line!

But can Mark fix a relationship when he gives the WRONG answer? And will Maria be giving him detention in front of the whole pub? 🤣📚

👀 Both couples are fairly new to the village, so welcome to Offham… there’s no better way to settle in than having your relationship publicly questioned in front of everyone! 🍻😂

Will they prove they know each other inside out, or will we be hearing “YOU NEVER TOLD ME THAT!” echoing around the pub? 😬🤣

💍😂 MR & MRS – THE FIRST TWO COUPLES ARE IN! 😂💍

Well, this should be interesting! 🤣🍻

First up, we’ve got Ady & Tina ❤️
🌳 Ady’s a tree surgeon, so he’s used to dealing with things that need chopping down… but will he be brave enough to say what he really thinks about Tina in front of everyone?! 😂🌲

Then we’ve got Binda & Caroline ❤️
📹 Binda works with CCTV, so he should be used to keeping an eye on things… although he might want to check the footage before answering some of these questions! 👀🤣

And Caroline? 🔥 Well, she’s famous for burning EVERYTHING she cooks! 😂🍳 Let’s hope Binda’s answers are better than her cooking!

Two couples, plenty of embarrassing questions, and absolutely no chance of keeping secrets! 🤣🍷

Who knows their other half best? Who’s sleeping on the sofa? And who’s getting themselves into trouble? 👀😂

What a lovely day yesterday for the Offham Steam Rally! 🥰

A massive thank you to everyone who came along, brought their beautiful cars and steam engines, stopped for a drink, grabbed some breakfast or BBQ, and helped make the day so special.

It was fantastic to see so many people out supporting the village and enjoying the day together. ❤️

A big thank you to everyone who helped out, too — we couldn’t do it without you! 🙌

We’ve put together a little video of some of the amazing cars and steam engines from yesterday. 🚗🚂 We hope you enjoy looking back at a brilliant day!
