Tasting History Ayrshire Tours. THAT.Co recently sent Mrs Glennon to provide a character service offering whisky samples at a Tidelines Book Festival event ‘A DrinkTo Die For.’

Two authors Natalie Jayne Clark and Martin Stewart discussed the creative process behind their whisky infused storylines which included kidnapping and murders.

4 whisky samples of whisky were offered at the event which included Ayrshire’s own Isle of Cumbrae Distillers recently launched Lions Rock Whisky. This superb malted whisky blend offers tasting notes of vanilla, poached pear and butterscotch. It sweetly glides over the tongue and spreads its warmth on its way 😋

It was a great entertaining evening - ‘oh Campbeltown Loch, I wish you were whisky 🎵’

Remember the days of Backroom Barfly Events? Look who’s coming to the Backroom at The Kings Arms Pub in West Kilbride! No cocktails this time, just gin - a gin and tonic on arrival, gin from Isle of Cumbrae Distillers, the history of gin, Judith and Sal’s gin soaked tales of their shady past, er, yes it’s mostly about gin - and fun! 😉

We are pleased to announce that Judith de Faux and her not so able assistant; Sally Swally will be returning to Ayrshire, bringing with them, the history of Gin. Their sordid stories from the past will be interspersed with delicious gins from the Multi Award winning Isle of Cumbrae Distillers
This time they will be in the back room at The KINGS Arms pub in West Kilbride. The date is easy to remember - it is earmarked for lovers everywhere - in particular lovers of gin.

I stopped providing cocktail parties after Covid although I still work with local distillers and drinks providers through Tasting History Ayrshire Tours. THAT.Co. Check it out!
I have many bone china cups and saucers which are clean/no chips and deserve to be appreciated. I am selling them on for just 50p per cup and saucer. If you can make good use of them for cocktails or tea! Please contact me. Janet 😊
