It is with deep sadness that we share the news that The Prince Albert has closed its doors for the last time.
This decision has been made by higher management and is completely outside of our control. We know this news will be upsetting for many people, and we want you to know that we share that disappointment and heartbreak.
The Prince Albert has always been more than just a pub. It has been a place where people came together, friendships were built, celebrations were shared, and lasting memories were made. For many, it has been a familiar and comforting part of everyday life, which is why saying goodbye is so difficult.
We grew up in this place. Some of our earliest memories were made within these walls, and we have had the privilege of raising our own children here too. The Prince Albert has been woven into the fabric of our lives for years, making this closure all the more heartbreaking.
We know this change will be hard for everyone to navigate. It marks the end of a chapter that has meant so much to so many people. There will undoubtedly be sadness and a sense of loss, but we truly believe that the friendships, support, and community spirit that have always been at the heart of The Prince Albert will help us all through this difficult time.
To every customer who has supported us over the years, thank you. Thank you for your loyalty, your laughter, your stories, and for making The Prince Albert the special place it became. It has been a privilege to welcome you through our doors and to be part of your lives.
Although the pub may be closing, the memories we’ve created together will remain, and the friendships formed here will never be forgotten.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything. We will always be grateful for the incredible community that made The Prince Albert what it was and for the role it has played in our family’s life.
With love and appreciation,
The Prince Albert Family ❤️
