Wem Sports and Social Club is a facility based at the Butler Sports Centre in Wem, and serves the needs of local community.

It has a busy members lounge which is a hub of activity at evenings and weekends and hosts members evenings with entertainment such as Karaoke and Tribute Acts. There is a large function room which has a capacity of 130, and is available for both members and non-members to use. So no matter what type of event you are looking to book, we will be able to accommodate your needs. The facility is home

to 2 football teams, Wem Town and Shawbury United, Wem Bowling Club, and is also the headquarters for Wem Hockey Club, who play their games in Whitchurch. If you would like to discuss hiring out our facility, including the fees that we charge, or to enquire about how to become a member, please feel free to call or message the club steward who will be happy to help you.
