It is with heavy hearts that we have to inform you that our monthly songwriter sessions have come to an end.
Since we started putting on all-original nights in Welshpool six years ago, we've been privileged to host acts from all across the UK, even bringing a slice of Nashville to our small town, and we are hugely proud of the nights we have put on.
We have always prided ourselves on booking the best acts we can, but this has become increasingly difficult over the past several months as the economic realities of the live music industry have become starker for us - we can't afford to pay our acts what they could be getting elsewhere and it's not fair to ask them to choose between our small but amazing nights that we can pay them a little bit for and making a living as musicians.
We would like to thank every single amazing act we have had the privilege of hosting, as well as every single person who has come along to one of our shows. We hope you have enjoyed the nights as much as we have.
Please keep supporting original music wherever you can, there's so much good stuff out there to listen to.
