So we have some amazing news and some not so good news. Starting with a not so good news. We will not be open this weekend, but the amazing news is that we finally had some positive news regarding our insurance.
We’ve been having some quite serious issues with water ingress into the building (that’s a massive understatement obviously) and we’ve had some issues regarding our insurance company.
We have had the loss adjuster out to the property today who has said that they are going to start with the additional work that is required to open up the entire building as soon as physically possible. That said, we didn’t notice that over the last couple of days the issue has got a little bit worse regarding our flat roof and it is not safe to open La Luna this weekend until we can make the electrics safe.

It’s a real shame as last Saturday was one of the best nights we’ve had in a long time and it’s pay day weekend so was set to be a belter but hey ho.. it is was it is and we’re going to be ready for next weekend.

What a fabulous evening last night. The band were absolutely amazing, it was such a wonderful atmosphere and a great night had by all. Really looking forward to this evening for the old school, R&B and hip-hop event.

So the work to repair the damage from the water leak is almost complete.

We are going to re launch on Friday 27th October at 7pm and be open on Saturday 28th October until the early hours.

UPDATE ….. So still nothing from the insurance side of things but I’ve managed to get some of the money required to fix most of the venues problems that arose from the leaks so we’re starting the work on Wednesday. It’ll take around 10-12 weeks to get things done properly so we’re pretty sure we’ll be opening our doors again by the end of October: It’s crazy that we’ve been left like this by our insurance company but hey ho. Thankfully I will not give up that easily.. I’m soooo looking forward to reopening our doors..
In reality this has given us the opportunity to rethink a few things like our drinks menu, entertainment and marketing. Here’s to the future, 1 day at a time 😊

So unfortunately we haven’t had much to update as we are having quite serious issues with the insurance side of things. I’m not going to lie… the last month have taken its toll on us but I have made the decision to start on the work to get back up and running as soon as possible. However, this is going to take some time…….
We are going to aim towards re-opening around the beginning of August. We are looking for staff, so if you’re interested and have experience in cocktail making get in touch.
I will update the page when we have more information.
