🍀 Good luck to everyone sitting their final GCSE exams this week! 📚

Remember, your exam results do not define who you are or what you can achieve in life.

I know that from personal experience. I left school with no GCSEs and never did particularly well in a classroom. The traditional way of learning just wasn’t for me, and the truth is, some people simply aren’t made to sit in a classroom all day. That doesn’t mean they aren’t talented, hardworking, or capable of achieving great things.

Fast forward a few years, and I’m proud to own two pubs, have built a successful career, and have been lucky enough to pick up several awards along the way.

A special shout-out to our Bailey, who has already secured a place on the Professional Chef Diploma at Westminster 👨‍🍳👏. We are incredibly proud of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds.

To everyone taking exams this week, give it your best shot, but remember that whatever happens, there are many different routes to success. GCSEs are just one step on your journey, not the final destination.

Our little Leo is coming home needs plenty of crate rest but hopefully he is on the mend now 💙 also a massive thank you to the customers that have donated towards Leo’s second surgery we really are truly grateful and will never forget that 💙nearly £5000 you have all donated towards it and the staff putting all their tips the last few months to help.. you all know how much Charlie and Leo mean to me and I really do appreciate it all 💙💙

Unfortunately, the kitchen will be closed until this evening as Bon has an appointment at the doggy hospital this afternoon and is hopefully bringing Leo home after his operation 🐾

Leo has been in all week, so we’re really hoping today is the day he gets to come home.

Charlie had his first day today and as you can see… absolutely KNACKERED 🤣❤️

They offer pick ups and drop offs, doggy day care, group walks in their own private secure field and also solo walks for dogs that are reactive, nervous or just prefer their own space.

Charlie actually got expelled from his last daycare for being “too much” 😂 so finding somewhere patient, understanding and experienced has been amazing.

It’s such a relief knowing he’s safe, stimulated and properly worn out for once 🤣 Highly recommend to anyone local looking for reliable dog care 🐕🐾

Yesterday morning our kids’ shelf was fully stocked with books, games and activities for everyone to enjoy… , this morning .. nothing left !

We provide these items out of our own pockets to make visits a little more enjoyable for families, so it’s really disheartening to see them taken.

We are aware (via CCTV) of who was involved, but we won’t be naming or shaming — that’s not what we’re about. We’d simply ask that this is taken as a reminder to teach children that taking things that don’t belong to them isn’t okay.

Our kids’ area is here for everyone to use and enjoy. Please just make sure everything is returned after use so all families can benefit.

So I did delete this the other day as I was a little embarrassed, but since then Leo has now been admitted into hospital as he has gone downhill and could no longer walk 😭 his still in now had his mri that has confirmed issues with his first surgery…

He got diagnosed with wobblers syndrome which is neurological and un curable , but can be manageable with surgery unfortunately his first surgery he has had issues and relapsed, we have already spent nearly 18000 on his care and vet visits and meds and mri scans an surgery…
But he is now needing a second one to give him a better chance as he can no longer walk, my sister did set this up to try and help is with the costs to help our little Leo 💙please even share if u can

We are reaching out for support during an incredibly difficult time for my sister and her par… Kerry Tarleton needs your support for Leo’s lifesaving surgery
