🏉 Watfuls U14s 49 - 50 Harlow U14s 🏉
Our first home league game of the season at Watford certainly had a bit of everything!
We started with autumn sunshine, followed by a few drops of rain, then an almighty downpour, a swirling wind and even what sounded like a rumble of thunder! 🌦️🌧️💨⚡
Despite ending up soaked to the skin and battling tough conditions, the girls showed incredible determination throughout. With Harlow bringing 11 players, Watfuls matched numbers and reduced the pitch size, making for a fantastic and very evenly contested game.
Tries from Flo (2), Tilly (2), Cordelia, Caitlin and Beau, with Caitlin converting all 7 tries 👏🎯
The game finished 49-50, with just a single point separating the sides. While it was a shame not to share the points, both teams were equal in effort, commitment and performance and should be proud of what they produced in such challenging conditions.
Well played, Harlow, and huge congratulations to all our Waffles for another excellent team performance. ❤️🖤🧇
