So this is going to be a long one...😭😭
Today is our last day at The Wheelhouse after an incredible 15years and I honestly dont think any of us have the emotional capacity to deal with today if you see us in a corner somewhere crying just come give us a hug 🤣🤣🙈.
Trying to put 15 years of memories, friendships, experiences, highs, lows into one facebook post feels almost impossible but here it goes:
The Wheelhouse has always been more than a job to me, its been a huge part of mine and my teams lives and somewhere along the way we created something I will always be incredibly proud of - A FAMILY- my wheelhouse Witches.
There are far too many people to name individually and I dont want to miss anyone out but to anyone who has walked through the doors supported us, performed or shared a drink with us has played their part im going to name a few anyway
To JK Entertainments NE Adam Joseph McDowell Craig Beattie Jack Mylchreest Phil Hughes Personalise it Shindigz Northeast thank you for many amazing nights you make thid place shine and your support has never altered even at my last min requests 🤣🙈
To my Pool, Doms, Darts and football teams-Thank you for everyrhing for representing the Wheelhouse, the commitment, the banter,the laughs, the arguments, the celebrations theres been a few ha ha.
You werent just teams to me you have become a massive part of the family and im incredibly proud to call you mine 😘your loyalty has been incredible and we will defo be joining you for drinks wherever that may be
LASTLY
to my staff past and present thank you from the bottom of my heart for every shift, every late night, every busy weekend, every problem solved, every ridiculous moment we laugh about - i genuinely could not have done it without you all.
We have worked through difficult times and like any family solved any issues and disagreements along the way but i wouldnt have changed ot for the world.
We arent just a workplace we are leaving a huge part of our lives and I dont think anyone will truly understands what it means.
All I can say for now is thank you, for believing in me, thank you for the loyalty and memories, holding the place together for me you lot really are the glue but most importantly you became my family im honoured to have you all as Summer/Saxons Aunties im sure he will still find a way to torture you
