Today is our final day at Cappadocia.

After today, we will be closing our doors, and honestly, there are no words that can fully explain how difficult this moment is for me.

I want to say sorry once again to all the children, families and people who believed in what we were trying to build. We wanted to do so much more. We had dreams for this place that went far beyond running a restaurant.

But even though our doors are closing, I truly hope that the kindness continues.

To all the restaurants, businesses and people who are fortunate enough to be in a position to help others — please look around you. Help a child, support a family, feed someone who needs it, give an elderly person a reason to smile. You don’t have to change the whole world. Sometimes changing one person’s day is enough.

And please remember: when we stand together, we are stronger.

Businesses may close. Dreams may change. But kindness, love and community should never stop.

Thank you to every single person who supported Cappadocia, visited us, shared our posts, donated, volunteered, or simply walked through our doors and believed in us.

You will always be part of our story.

A Difficult Goodbye, But Also a Proud One

This Sunday will be our final day at Cappadocia.

Closing the doors is something I never wanted to do. If I’m honest, what hurts me most is not losing money or the business itself. The hardest part is having to walk away from a place where we tried to do something good, bring people together, support our community and create something we could be proud of.

The truth is that these have been extremely difficult times for us. Financially, I am in a very difficult position and carrying debts that have become too heavy. But throughout this journey, I genuinely did everything I could. I gave it my heart, my time and everything I had to keep going.

That is why, even though this ending is painful, being named among the British Kebab Awards semi-finalists means a great deal to me. To reach this stage, especially in our final chapter, is something I will always be proud of. It is a beautiful reminder that what we tried to build mattered.

I believe the people of Warrington have seen, over the years, the things we have done for our community — the help we have given, the events we have supported and the effort we have made to make a difference wherever we could. And I will always be grateful to everyone who stood by us, supported us and showed us kindness.

This is not necessarily goodbye to Warrington.

God willing, perhaps one day we will have another opportunity, in another place and a more suitable location, to build something again. And if that day comes, I hope we can once again do things that make Warrington proud.

For now, I simply want to say thank you.

Thank you to every customer, every friend, every family, every organisation and every person who supported us along the way.

Walking away is incredibly difficult, but I leave with my head held high, knowing that I truly did everything I could.

TURKISH RESTAURANT CAPADOCIA ANNOUNCES SHOCK CLOSURE

A TURKISH restaurant on Mersey Street has announced its shock closure this coming weekend.
In a heartfelt message the CAPADOCIA restaurant posted:
“Dear our wonderful customers, families, friends and everyone who has supported us,
“With a very heavy heart, I have to share some difficult news.
“When we opened Cappadocia Restaurant Warrington, we didn’t just open a restaurant. We opened a dream.
“Our dream was never only about food, tables and business. We wanted Cappadocia to become a place where people could come together, feel welcome, feel cared for and, most importantly, feel that they belonged.
“For the past seven months, we have given this dream everything we had.
“One of our biggest dreams was to transform the upstairs of Cappadocia into a special community space for families — especially families with disabled children, families caring for loved ones who are unwell, elderly people, and anyone who needed a safe, welcoming and understanding place.
“We spoke to families. We listened to their stories. We made promises.
“And I meant every single one of those promises.
“Sadly, sometimes life takes us in a direction we never expected.
“After seven months of fighting, working and trying everything we could, the financial losses have become too great for us to continue. With a very heavy heart, I have made the decision to close Cappadocia Restaurant Warrington.
“This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make.
“But there is something I need to say, especially to the families who believed in our dream.
“I am truly sorry.
“I am sorry that I could not finish the upstairs space I promised you.
I am sorry that I could not create the place where your children could feel included, where families could come together, and where elderly and vulnerable people could feel special and cared for.
“I promised you a dream, and I am heartbroken that I cannot keep that promise.
Please know that the dream was real. The intention was real. And the love behind it was real.
“Money can be lost and money can be earned again. But the people we have met, the families we have helped, the smiles we have seen and the memories we have created during these seven months are worth more than money.
“Before we close our doors for the final time, there is one last thing I want to do.
We want to organise one final Community Day at Cappadocia.
“A special day for disabled children and their families, elderly people, families, friends, our customers and everyone in our community.
“Everyone will be welcome.
“We want our final memory at Cappadocia to be filled with food, laughter, kindness, music, love and togetherness.
“Not a goodbye filled only with sadness, but a celebration of all the beautiful people who made these seven months meaningful.

Dear our wonderful customers, families, friends and everyone who has supported us,

With a very heavy heart, I have to share some difficult news.

When we opened Cappadocia Restaurant Warrington, we didn’t just open a restaurant. We opened a dream.

Our dream was never only about food, tables and business. We wanted Cappadocia to become a place where people could come together, feel welcome, feel cared for and, most importantly, feel that they belonged.

For the past seven months, we have given this dream everything we had.

One of our biggest dreams was to transform the upstairs of Cappadocia into a special community space for families — especially families with disabled children, families caring for loved ones who are unwell, elderly people, and anyone who needed a safe, welcoming and understanding place.

We spoke to families. We listened to their stories. We made promises.

And I meant every single one of those promises.

Sadly, sometimes life takes us in a direction we never expected.

After seven months of fighting, working and trying everything we could, the financial losses have become too great for us to continue. With a very heavy heart, I have made the decision to close Cappadocia Restaurant Warrington.

This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make.

But there is something I need to say, especially to the families who believed in our dream.

I am truly sorry.

I am sorry that I could not finish the upstairs space I promised you.

I am sorry that I could not create the place where your children could feel included, where families could come together, and where elderly and vulnerable people could feel special and cared for.

I promised you a dream, and I am heartbroken that I cannot keep that promise.

Please know that the dream was real. The intention was real. And the love behind it was real.

Money can be lost and money can be earned again. But the people we have met, the families we have helped, the smiles we have seen and the memories we have created during these seven months are worth more than money.

Before we close our doors for the final time, there is one last thing I want to do.

We want to organise one final Community Day at Cappadocia.

A special day for disabled children and their families, elderly people, families, friends, our customers and everyone in our community.

Everyone will be welcome.

We want our final memory at Cappadocia to be filled with food, laughter, kindness, music, love and togetherness.
