Poulton Park is a semi private members golf club that is in Warrington, Cheshire. The club was opened in 1978 and each year gets better and better. When you arrive at Poulton Park you will crossover the stream taking in the view of the unique Chip & Pin Short Game Centre. You will be met by a beautiful wishing well that is situated in the quaint courtyard. The character and charm continues once en

tering the clubhouse where you will be treated to hospitality like no where else. Mandi and her team will be on hand to serve you with refreshing drinks and mouth watering snacks, either in the relaxing lounge or out on the patio/decking that overlooks the practice area. Ian Orrell is the Director of Golf and is based at the Professional Shop. The well stocked Professional shop has many eye catching displays showing of all the latest equipment and clothing collections, Oscar Jacobson and Calvin Klein to name but a few. Ian offers golf tuition through the Eazigolf Teaching academy. Bespoke packages can be booked with Ian, a level 3 coach. Group lessons are available for Juniors and he also carries out group short game lessons. With the arrival of the Chip and Pin Short Game area Ian and the professional shop are seen as short game specialists. With the partnership with Cleveland golf you can be fitted with the correct wedges and be taught the correct technique to master all shots from inside 100 yards. With the assistance of Sport England, we have become a benchmark setting facility. The Chip & Pin Short game centre has two large short game greens, where with a tube a balls and an hour to spare you can recreate virtually any golf shot from inside 90 yards. The purpose built ALL WEATHER pitching area situated to the side of the clubhouse has a synthetic green that reacts just like a normal grass green would. This unique green has three different pin positions that are set on three separate tiers. We have a chipping green which is surrounded by two large bunkers and one pot bunker to practice all those delicate finesse shots. If you are serious about reducing your handicap and lowering those scores then the Chip & Pin Short Game Centre at Poulton Park is the place for you…….

Great day out in the sunshine at Stand Golf Club with my playing partner Steve Fisher. I
Managed to scrape it round in 41 points and we had 43 as a team.
