Warminster’s community will come together for the annual Remembrance Service and Parade on Sunday 8th November.
The Remembrance Day Parade will assemble in East Street before departing at 2.40pm via Market Place, High Street and The Close.
The Remembrance Day Service will begin at 3pm at the War Memorial (junction of Portway and The Close, BA12 8QE). Parade participants will join ex-service groups, local organisations and others already gathered. The service will last about 40 minutes.
Rolling road closures will minimise disruption, although some roads will remain closed for the duration of the service.
Orders of service are available in advance from the Civic Centre, Sambourne Road, Warminster, BA12 8LB, and Warminster Library, Three Horseshoes Walk, Warminster, BA12 9BT. They can also be downloaded from the Warminster Town Council website or collected on the day.
Those unable to attend can listen live on Warminster Community Radio 105.5 FM at www.wcrfm.org.uk. A collection will be held in aid of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
