After playing the drums for 10 years from the age of 8 then discovering Acid House / Detroit Techno / Chicago House in 87 / 88, Craig quickly sold his drum kit and replaced it with belt driven Citronics decks before progressing on to a set of Technics.
Craig quickly built up a name for himself as DJ X-CITE playing at legendary Bournemouth rave clubs; Remix and Madisons (later becoming a Madisons resident DJ). Around that time he became part of the trio; X-CITE, X-CESS and X-FADE (aka the X Men). Craig also played at various events along the South Coast, including the legendary Sterns nightclub in Worthing, warming up for Luke Slater.
Through the 90's he progressed through the larger raves such as Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Fusion, Adrenalin and Destiny (at The Manor). He became a resident at the infamous Country Club around 1998 and was guest DJ at various locations including Lakota in Bristol. Around that time, he had numerous releases on seminal labels; Bosca Land and Metropolitan, together with DJ X-CESS (Organ Donors).
After a short break,he helped set up "Pure Klass " nights at The Wi******er club in Bournemouth. and the Volks in Brighton. The Wi******er also hosted "Terminal" nights where Craig frequently played. The Pure Klass events brought in the UK Techno luminaries such as; Billy Nasty, Colin Dale, Trevor Rockcliffe, Say Tek, Dave Angel, Mark Broom culminating in booking Joey Beltram at The Concorde in Brighton.
Craig continues to DJ regularly around the local area at many clubs and events with "Timewarp" events being a particular highlight where he plays in the second room.
Craig enjoys playing a varied style of genres to cater for different events; rave / disco / house, tech -house and techno, always forward thinking with a nod to the past ;)
