Walsall Rugby Club Welcome to the official page for Walsall Rugby Football Club.

Walsall RFC is an amateur club, established in 1922 by a group of 33 enthusiasts who paid 5s a year subscription. In 1931 the club moved to its present location, into an old wartime building which still exists despite three facelifts that have occurred since that time. The Club now runs three senior sides that regularly play on Saturday afternoons, the first team playing in Midlands 1 West. We have an extremely busy Mini and Junior Section that play and train on Sundays from Under 7's - Colts; plus our Baby Bears (Under 6's) who train and learn the game every Sunday.

▪︎1ST XV MATCH DAY SQUAD▪︎

Here is your 1st XV who will play Stoke tomorrow in a double header: league and Staffs Cup!

After a narrow defeat last weekend, the boys are determined to bounce back and get back to winning ways. We are expecting another physical, competitive match and it'd be brilliant to have lots of Walsall support cheering the boys on.

Due to tomorrow being a double header and VP's day, the club and car park will be busy so please ensure you park considerately of one another, our neighbours and do not block any emergency gates.

The club is open from 1pm and game kicks off at 3pm - please come down and support.

Come on Walsall!

▪︎U11'S MATCH REPORT▪︎

Last Sunday the Under 11s travelled to Solihull to take part in the Silhillians minis festival with the aim of 2 things, enjoyment and experience, and we are glad to say both were achieved.

The players played 5 games of 12 minutes against much more experienced teams and after a slow start in the first few games, the players started to find their feet with much better tackles and teamwork. When it came to the last game, the U11's found their flow with a very impressive performance to end the festival on a high.

This week's players of the week were the whole team and all our players should be very proud of the efforts they put in.

Well Done All!

▪︎U16'S MATCH REPORT▪︎

What a performance from the boys on Sunday!

After two excellent training sessions, the lads took that hard work onto the pitch and delivered a performance they can be seriously proud of.

A special mention to our front eight, who were massively outsized today but showed unbelievable heart, commitment and determination. They tackled everything that moved, scrummed their hearts out and hit every ruck like their lives depended on it!

That’s what this team is about – courage, teamwork and putting your body on the line for the lad next to you.

Every player contributed today, and the effort across the squad was fantastic. As coaches, we couldn’t ask for much more.

Well Done All!
