🌹 REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY AT WS1 LIVE LOUNGE 🌹

This Sunday, we remember the brave men, women and animals who served and sacrificed so much for our freedom.

Following the parade, we’d love you to join us at WS1 for a drink, good company and some old classic tunes.

We believe you don’t always need loud entertainment or a big event to bring people together. Sometimes good company, shared memories and a relaxed atmosphere mean so much more.

A day for respect, reflection and remembering what really matters.

Everyone is welcome, including children accompanied by a responsible adult. We believe it’s important for younger generations to learn about our history and understand the sacrifices made for the lives we enjoy today. ❤️

CHRISTMAS DAY AT WS1 LIVE LOUNGE?

We’re thinking about doing something a little different this Christmas, but before we make any plans, we’d love to know what everyone thinks.

We’re considering opening on Christmas Day and offering a lovely traditional Christmas dinner, with entertainment throughout the day.

We know Christmas isn’t the same for everyone. Some people spend it alone, some don’t have family nearby, and others would simply love to enjoy Christmas dinner without spending hours cooking and washing up!

We’ve put together a beautiful Christmas menu with a choice of starters, traditional roasts and desserts, along with the possibility of smaller, cheaper portions for children.

Our main aim would be to keep it as affordable as possible. We know how expensive Christmas can be, and we’d love to make it somewhere everyone feels welcome, whether you’re coming on your own, as a couple, with friends or bringing the whole family.

We would need to take deposits in advance to secure bookings, but nothing is confirmed just yet.

So, we’d really appreciate your feedback!

• Would you be interested in joining us for Christmas dinner?
• What would you consider a reasonable price for a Christmas Day meal?
• Would you prefer a full three-course meal or a cheaper two-course option?
• Would entertainment on Christmas Day appeal to you?

We’re not taking bookings at this stage. We’re simply trying to see whether there’s enough interest to make it happen.

Even if it’s not something you’d personally do, we’d love to hear your thoughts.

We’ve got the fantastic Roy Lorenzo joining us this Friday 6th November from around 9pm!

Roy comes highly recommended by so many people, and with his beautiful voice and brilliant mix of hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, we can see why!

We’ve had so many good things said about him that we just had to get him down to WS1!
