In the short time we have been at the Lighthouse we have refurbished throughout the inside and, despite being locked down for many months, we have built up a reputation for serving quality food and excellent beers, wines and cocktails. We source as much of our ingredients as possible from local suppliers and our locally caught fish and shellfish are particular specialities. We offer local crabs an

d lobsters throughout the summer season and Brancaster mussels and local oysters throughout the winter months. Our meat is sourced from a local rare-breed butcher and our Sunday lunches are second to none. In 2019 our new camping, motorhome and caravan site, Lighthouse Camping, opened, and is open all year round. Please visit our website for details www.lighthouse camping.co.uk

Serving the Coastal Community since 1850

The Lighthouse Inn is first recorded in the 1851 Census, and has been serving local residents and visitors to the area ever since - almost 170 years!

Walcott, which was originally part of the village of Has Bro (which was largely lost to the sea in the late 19thCentury) has become an independent village from the newly-named Happisburgh, which is home to one of the most famous lighthouses on the UK coastline.

With our recently-completed 7-mile Sandscaping Project, we now boast one of the best beaches on the Norfolk Coast, for relaxing, walking, swimming or fossil-hunting on the Deep History Coast, one of the richest areas in the world for discovering pre-historic fossils.

Our pub, and next-door campsite, is just a five-minute walk from the beach and clifftop path, offering a friendly, relaxed place to sit and chat, eat fresh locally-produced food cooked on the premises, and be refreshed by our great range of beers, wines and soft drinks.
