M&S STARTED HERE—INSIDE EUROPE’S LARGEST INDOOR MARKET! 👀

Long before hundreds of stores, food halls and Percy Pigs, Michael Marks opened his Penny Bazaar at Leeds Kirkgate Market in 1884.

That little Yorkshire market stall began the story of one of Britain’s most famous retailers—Marks & Sparks. 🙌

FROM OLD YORK TO NEW YORK — WE REMEMBER. 🕊️❤️ — WE REMEMBER. 🕊️❤️

Ahead of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2,977 drones illuminated the New York skyline, recreating the Twin Towers—one light representing every life lost that day.

It’s a powerful and deeply moving tribute.

I still remember watching the events unfold and struggling to comprehend what we were seeing. Even from thousands of miles away, the shock and sadness reached us here in Yorkshire and have never truly left.

Tonight, we’re sending love across the Atlantic to every family still living with that loss, to the survivors and to the courageous first responders.

2,977 lives. Each one loved. Each one remembered.

Yorkshire remembers. The world remembers.

Never forgotten. 🕊️

🧸 YORK’S ORIGINAL TEDDY BEAR SHOP IS INSIDE A 15TH-CENTURY BUILDING… 😍

Hidden away on historic Stonegate, this wonderfully nostalgic little shop has been filled with teddy bears since 1990.

There are Jellycats, Paddingtons, Charlie Bears, Steiff bears and shelves full of cuddly characters waiting to be discovered. ❤️

It’s one of those places where you go in “just for a look” and leave emotionally attached to a bear. 😂
