After 8 incredible years, the time has come for me to bow out and say goodbye to The Dam Inn๐ฅนโค๏ธ
I honestly donโt know where to begin. Eight years is a long time, and the Dam has been such a huge part of my life. Itโs been more than just a job โ itโs been a home, a place where Iโve made some amazing friends, shared countless laughs, faced plenty of challenges, and created memories that Iโll carry with me for the rest of my life.
Iโve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people over the years, and I want to say a massive thank you to every single person who has walked through the doors, whether youโve been a regular for years or just popped in once. Your support, conversations, laughs and friendship have meant more to me than you probably realise.
To the incredible team that I have been so fortunate Iโve worked alongside and lead over the years โ thank you. Weโve shared some unforgettable times, and Iโll always be grateful for the memories weโve made together and the accolades and records we have broken!

Leaving after 8 years is incredibly difficult, and there are definitely mixed emotions. Thereโs sadness in closing this chapter, but also excitement about what the future might bring.
The Dam will always hold a very special place in my heart, and Iโll look back on my time here with nothing but gratitude.
So, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU, Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the support and for making the last 8 years so bloody specialโค๏ธ
So before I lock the doors for the last time on Sunday and hand the keys over to the builders for The New Dam to start itโs next chapter on Monday , it would mean the world to see as many of you as possibly, over the week and at our final events this week, to celebrate together what we have achieved and just how proud we are and how proud I am of the community pub we have all built togetherโค๏ธ
