After 8 incredible years, the time has come for me to bow out and say goodbye to The Dam Inn🥹❤️
I honestly don’t know where to begin. Eight years is a long time, and the Dam has been such a huge part of my life. It’s been more than just a job — it’s been a home, a place where I’ve made some amazing friends, shared countless laughs, faced plenty of challenges, and created memories that I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life.
I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people over the years, and I want to say a massive thank you to every single person who has walked through the doors, whether you’ve been a regular for years or just popped in once. Your support, conversations, laughs and friendship have meant more to me than you probably realise.
To the incredible team that I have been so fortunate I’ve worked alongside and lead over the years — thank you. We’ve shared some unforgettable times, and I’ll always be grateful for the memories we’ve made together and the accolades and records we have broken!

Leaving after 8 years is incredibly difficult, and there are definitely mixed emotions. There’s sadness in closing this chapter, but also excitement about what the future might bring.
The Dam will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I’ll look back on my time here with nothing but gratitude.
So, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU, Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the support and for making the last 8 years so bloody special❤️
So before I lock the doors for the last time on Sunday and hand the keys over to the builders for The New Dam to start it’s next chapter on Monday , it would mean the world to see as many of you as possibly, over the week and at our final events this week, to celebrate together what we have achieved and just how proud we are and how proud I am of the community pub we have all built together❤️
