First of all, we’re sorry we’ve been so quiet recently with regards to Crux. There’s been lots happening behind the scenes in the last 2 months, but we can finally share that we have had to leave 5 South Parade.
Although we had a great time there and ran lots of fantastic gigs and events, there were lots of issues with the space, and we weren’t able to continue running from there.

Thank you all for your constant support since we first opened Crux at Providence St! It’s been an amazing couple of years, so many great nights, fantastic bands and new friends made!!

We do however have some VERY exciting news for us! We’re chuffed to announce that from April we’ll working on a new strategic partnership with which means we will be working on lots of new projects, events and spaces across Wakefield city centre!!

More details coming soon, watch this space!! 💫💫

Get out and support Wakefield's local record store Wah Wah Records on April 21st and bag yourself some treats :)

So, the list is out there and I've listened to your requests, we will be starting to put our orders in in the next few days.
If you have any requests please let me know.

Here's a quick re cap on RSD rules for the day......

All items none reservable

No more than 1 of the same item per person I'm afraid

We open at 8 am that day (21/4/18) it's a Saturday

Absolutely no sobbing.

We'll be announcing the full list of what stock we have, with prices and quantity's the week of the big day.

Of course these are all rules for the limited records that we will be stocking, but don't forget the day is about celebrating the independent record shop, get out there and fill their tills as much as you can (not just rsd products) or just do it any other day also.

We'll be announcing a few more bits that's going to happen on the day at a later date

Today we are 10! It is 10 years since the 1st Philophobia event with mi mye & Napoleon IIIrd playing for us.

We’ve done plenty since then - 123 releases and countless gigs and events. We’ve worked with some amazing bands and other collaborators. We’ve been to places we didn’t think we’d be able to and met some wonderful people along the way. We’ve had a great time and we’ve still got plenty to come - there’s currently 6 new releases plus a retrospective release in the pipeline for starters.

None of this would have been possible without you, thank you for your continued support, we love you with all of our blue heart.
