Due to staff sickness, we’ve made the difficult decision to pause our food service until at least Monday.

We will be closed for food today (Friday), Saturday and Sunday. This isn’t a decision we’ve taken lightly, but we’d always rather step back than deliver anything less than the standard you expect from us.

We’ll keep you updated right here on Facebook over the next few days, so please keep an eye out for any changes.

This Wednesday (18th March) we’re mixing things up a little…

Instead of our usual Curry & Bingo Night, it’s your FINAL chance to enjoy our Two-for-One Burgers before our brand new menu launches on 24th March.

What a week it’s been at The Horse & Jockey!

The support from everyone who’s popped in for food, a drink or simply a chat has been fantastic. It’s been wonderful to welcome familiar faces and new ones too. You’ve kept us wonderfully busy so a big thank you to all who have come along to support their local pub… it really does mean a lot to the whole team 🥰

With that in mind, we just wanted to let everyone know that today (Mother’s Day) is now fully booked for food as our kitchen will be kept very busy looking after the tables we have reserved. So, unfortunately we won’t be able to accommodate walk-ins for dining today.

Looking ahead, if you’d like to join us for food it’s always best to give us a quick call and book a table. I can (thankfully) confirm that after a few weeks of problems with our phoneline it is now back up and running 🤗 and is the best way to secure a table.

From today, the pub will be open daily
12 - 10pm, with food served 12 - 8pm… nice and simple so it’s one less thing to remember!
