Hi all, after a lot of thinking and discussions with the landlords etc.. the landlord’s are applying me a lot more pressure on the building so I’ve made the sad decision to announce that the clubs last trading day will be Tuesday 30th may. I was hoping to survive until the last day but need time to accommodate their requests… it’s a sad end of an era for me and I’m sorry if I’ve let people down but do feel I have given the club my best shot!!

Evening all… it’s with a sad heart to write this and let you all in on the gossip! Yes it’s true that we are closing for good.. the last day of trading will be Friday 9th June. I’m far from happy about the situation but the club has spent the last 2 years operating on a negative income and I can’t keep going on like that… I’ve tried a lot to keep it going but there comes a time when enough is enough, to put it in into some relevance if you earnt £100 a day but cost you £110 to get to work would you turn up every day??? Sky and BT sport has gone up to £21k a year and done us massive and as for the electric bill it’s a joke… it’s such a shame that all the independent venues like the club will all be gone in time….
I thank each and everyone of you for your support over the years and feel bad for letting down all my amazing staff but it’s time to go. Obviously we will have one last send off so keep your eyes peeled for the date!!

We will be opening at 11am Saturday so there’s plenty of time to get settled in for the coronation.
There’s also colouring for the kids and some games to play

3 big games of football tonight!! Huge game for the mighty cherries vs Saints, Newcastle are on winning form facing Everton, and Spurs face Man Utd!! All games on BT sport and we will be showing all 3 games on a mixture of TV’s so come and see some football!!

Wow! What a night.. huge thanks to Jon Bailey - Singer Guitarist for being brilliant tonight & for getting everyone into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day.. everyone had so much fun. It was an awesome night !

Thank you to all who came out and had a dance, a sing along & of course a Guinness or 3☘️☘️☘️, keeping our bar nice and busy & all the drinks flowing & of course, not forgetting “MATT’S MINUTE of MADNESS” - if you missed out this time, I’m sure we will be holding another one during one of our next events 🍻🍺🍻
