Pop in for a pint, good vibes & a warm welcome 🍺 Welcome to The Blenheim – a true Ventnor gem 🍻
Nestled in the heart of Ventnor on the beautiful Isle of Wight, The Blenheim has a story as rich as the town itself. Once known as Blenheim House, this building began life as a wine and spirit merchant, supplying the island with fine drinks and good cheer. Over the
years, it became home to several well-known bars including Burts, Longs, Brickwoods, and Threshers, before finally being transformed into a pub by Whitbread – and The Blenheim we know and love was born. Ventnor, once a quiet fishing hamlet, rose to fame in the 19th century as a Victorian health and holiday resort. Its unique microclimate was praised by physicians for aiding lung conditions, and the arrival of the railway in 1866 brought tourists in their thousands to experience what became known as the “English Mediterranean”. Much like the town, The Blenheim has evolved with time while holding onto its charm and character. Today, it’s a favourite local spot known for its friendly atmosphere, great selection of drinks, and warm welcome to locals and visitors alike. Whether you're popping in for a pint, soaking up the coastal vibe, or catching up with friends, The Blenheim is the perfect place to raise a glass in one of the Isle of Wight’s most historic seaside towns 🌊🍺
