Join us at the waterside Malt Shovel in Cowley, Uxbridge, for our weekly pub quiz night. A light-hearted quiz, as well as each week's theme(s), regular features include the opening picture round, light-hearted (and non-political) "In-the-news and this-day-in-history" round, Connection Round, and guess-the-intro Music finale round. Written for the pub especially by the resident Quiz Master, who for

some reason has been given responsibility, it's the most fun you can have for £2 on a Tuesday evening... allegedly. Winning first place voucher (second place prize varies on numbers present), plus weekly last-place-prize. So whether in it to win it or just playing for fun, gather a team of family, friends of colleages, and see how well you can do. Hello various folks who messaged asking if I'm able to at least run the annual Halloween Quiz this year. I did enquire with the The Malt Shovel, but it's not possible this year due to Reasons. Possibly to be renegotiated for next year, or I might look at running the Quiz at another venue (...though I'm loathe to take it away from it's traditional home).

Thank you to those who asked, showing there's still interest in the older, custom-made Quiz. Halloween just won't be the same without our craft challenge and "The Feely Boxes of Doom".

Hello folks. I had enquiries about resurrecting the 'Original' Quiz for an Xmas Special - traditionally the highlight of the Quiz year.

I prepared one in case, but unfortunately was unable to liaise with the pub - under new management - enough to arrange it. I'm looking into the possibility of Quiz returning sometime in 2025. Any updates posted here.
