Uttoxeter Brewing Company A micro brewery brewing hand crafted quality cask ales. Bringing the art of brewing back to the town. It is well hopped, with a lighter body and malt character.

Established in 2016, The Uttoxeter Brewing Company (The UBC) is Staffordshire's premium brewery. A combination of passion, knowledge and hard work has produced over 10 ales, demonstrating distinctive aromas and delicious flavours, exploiting the famous Burton-Upon-Trent hard water. Currently Brewing:

Paddock Porter - ABV 4.8% It is chocolaty; dominated by a distinctive dark roasted grain flavour and with a slight sweetness. (PRICE Firkin £79, Pin £40)

Full Gallop- ABV 4.4% An English Brown Ale- Malty spicy with slight sweetness and toffee note. (PRICE Firkin £72, Pin £36)

Final Furlong - ABV 4.5% Best Bitter (British style, Bass) smooth spicy and floral with caramel flavour. (PRICE Firkin £74, Pin £37)

Earthmover - ABV 5% Traditional English Bitter, quite hoppy in style with a good malty flavour, has a fruity finish. (PRICE Firkin £80, Pin £40)

Dr Johnson's Contrafibularity - ABV 4.5% Hoppy style IPA, with orange citrus flavour and colour. (PRICE Firkin £74, Pin £37)

Admiral Lord Gardner - ABV 4.5% An amber ale. A taste of tropical fruits and mango, a fruity bitter. (PRICE Firkin £74, Pin £37)

Uxonian - ABV 4.5% New Zealand hops with a flavour of cool ‘white wine’ crushed grapes and tangerines. An amber ale. (PRICE Firkin £74, Pin £37)

Ground Breaker - ABV 4.7% A golden beer with a splendid aroma, grassy with some earthy notes, combined with the cascade hop it produces a beer that provides a taste of pineapple. (PRICE Firkin £78, Pin £39)

American IPA - ABV 5.6% A typical American IPA. Powerful in strength, bitterness and fruitiness. (PRICE Firkin £84, Pin £42)

Earthmover Gold - ABV 4.7% A bright, light coloured English style golden ale, (IPA), a very hoppy yet fruity style beer. (PRICE Firkin £78, Pin £39)

Chinook - ABV 4.7% A light coloured American IPA with a distinct, medium intensity spice and pine characteristics and with subtle notes of grapefruit. A very hoppy bitter. (PRICE Firkin £78, Pin £39)

Bunting's Blonde - ABV 3.7% An outstanding Blonde- low alcohol. Lemon-grapefruit citrusy flavour. (PRICE Firkin £69, Pin £35)

Brewery Update

The Bad News:

The brewery is now closed for the outside drinking season in 2026. We'd like to thank everyone that came to visit us between April and September. Your loyalty is massively appreciated and your support of this local business does you proud. It's also been great meeting new customers and visitors from outside the area. Again a heartfelt thanks from Andy and Tom to all of you it makes a huge difference to us. We'll see you again in April 2027 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

The Good News:

The brewery is open on weekday mornings for bottle sales and bright cask sales (to order) so please visit us then. You can drink our ales all year round at the CAMRA award winning Night Inn Craft Bar & Brewery Tap in the Lion Buildings in town. Please continue to support us by supporting our tap.

We'll keep brewing our ales to distribute to pubs, clubs, bars and beer festivals across the Midlands and beyond. Thanks again to everyone who supports us 😀😀🍺🍺

SHREWFEST Sunday you were incredible!

We started with lots of little pirates finding the lost treasure.
Then Harry Parker not only played some absolute amazing tunes he bought the sunshine! ☀️
We ended with the Country DJ getting everyone line dancing and having a brilliant night.

Today we have lots of beer to drank!!
The mission is simple, put on your drinking jackets and get to the shrew!!

WE ARE OPEN 12-4pm. £3 a pint on all festival beers and ciders.

Forget the rain make your own sunshine at Shrewfest 🌞

SHREWFEST Friday was a bit damp but it didn’t stop you guys turning out and having an amazing time!

Today the forecast is looking equally damp however we have plenty of cover to keep you dry.

🐶 We’ve got the fun dog show at 2pm today. Entries from 1pm.

🎸 Flying solo will be keeping you entertained from 4pm THIS ACT MAYBE MOVED INSIDE WEATHER DEPENDANT.

🎤 8pm we have Mix Up who will be bringing all the tunes from INSIDE THE PUB!!Be sure to have your dancing shoes on!

🍔 Lunch is served 12-2.30pm.
🍔 Gourmets burgers are being served from 3pm until late.

🍺 We also have 20 real ales, 6 craft ciders and Marchington’s finest lager!

We're proud to have been asked once again to supply the ales for Shrewfest at the brilliant Shrewsbury Arms in Kingstone this weekend. We've worked with our brewing colleagues across the Midlands and North to supply a great mix of ales for all tastes.

There's also some great real ciders available and even local lager on tap.

Gourmet burgers are the order of the day food wise from the outstanding Shrew kitchen.

And multiple live music acts every day Friday to Sunday to bop away to.

There's plenty of cover available when the showers hit so come and enjoy the craic at this brilliant event 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
