We have officially been named THE MOST DOG-FRIENDLY PUB IN WALES 2026!

We’ve always loved welcoming four-legged guests just as much as their humans, so to be recognised by Rover as the very best in Wales is incredibly special.

We honestly had no idea and we’re completely blown away.

And of course, a massive well done the whole Greyhound team who make such a fuss of every muddy paw, waggy tail and hopeful face that comes through our doors.

Water, treats, beds, blankets, toys, doggy ice cream, our play paddock… apparently all that doggy spoiling has paid off! 🐾

We might be dining out on this one for a while… although the dogs will probably get served first 😉

THE GREYHOUND IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK!

And more importantly, our kitchen is open 7 days a week too.

Kitchen opening hours:

Monday – Thursday: 12–2.30pm & 5–8pm
Friday: 12–8pm – cooking ALL DAY
Saturday: 12–8pm – cooking ALL DAY
Sunday: 12–2.30pm

So yes… you CAN come for lunch on a Monday, and everyday! 😉

Come hungry. We’ll do the cooking. 🐾

This lovely feedback from last week’s wedding sums up exactly what we want celebrations at The Greyhound to be. ❤️

“Thank you for the most magical day from start to finish. The venue was perfect, food was amazing and the atmosphere was the best.”

Sunshine, a BBQ, flowing Prosecco, live singers, a photo booth, sunglasses, glow sticks and plenty of dancing!

But our favourite bit has to be...

“The Greyhound allowed us to do what we wanted to the venue to make it our own.”

Our beautiful flowers from The Willows Garden Centre are still going strong despite this year’s incredible heat! 🌸🌿☀️

We’re not entirely sure we can say the same for our chefs… they’re looking slightly more wilted! 😂👨‍🍳

Still, the garden is looking gorgeous and the kitchen is keeping up!
