(455)

We are a pioneering venture in Urmston: a little bar that sells pints of real ale and prosecco. We’re the Prairie Schooner Taphouse, a quirky and independently-minded gathering place named after the covered wagons which crossed the American West.

Following an incident over the weekend, we have made the decision to ban horses from our fourth-floor games room.

We can only assume that the offending nag simply had the trots, but the mane issue is that we were saddled with the clean-up and it really is time to rein it in. Yesterday, we asked our staff ‘to allow horses or not, that is the equestrian’ and they voted overwhelmingly: neigh.

For those concerned, the horse in now in a stable condition.

We're not looking to stirrup trouble and, of course, horses are still allowed in our basement casino.

Sorry for the intrusion
And we mean no confusion
But today sees an infusion
Of a new Track beer called 'Fusion'

This beer is a collusion
And it’s really no illusion
When we come to the conclusion
That this beer is…erm…ace.

Working in collaboration with their supply chain, Track Brewing Co. have created a delicious 5.1% abv Pale Ale…and it’s available on tap and in cans, right here at your Prairie Schooner Taphouse.
