Tomorrow (Thursday) we are hosting a 12 Beers For 12 Years - Kirkstall Brewery Tap Takeover

There are four Kirkstall Brewery cask ales and eight Kirkstall Brewery keg beers and all will be pouring from our noon opening time.

The 19th October 2014 was a Sunday. Prairie Schooner Taphouse opened for the first time, for a short afternoon of trading. Who was there?

As the 19th October 2026 falls on a Monday, we will celebrate, as part of Mike's Monday Music Quiz. The quiz itself will all revolve around the number 12 and, if things go well in Mike's kitchen, the participants can 'enjoy' cake, too...

And yes, the fact that the scales in the picture show the number 12 is pure coincidence and not staged, at all.

We are proud to announce our inclusion in the 2027 Good Bear Guide. Only one out of ten of Britain's drinking dens receive this distinction. Our Octobeer celebrations kick off in earnest next weekend and full details of our month-long 12th birthday celebeartions will be made as soon as we can rouse our marketing chief from hibernation. He's promising tap takeovers, extra special quiz nights, the first pour of our collaborative brew and a season of sumptuous sour bears. Er, beers.

We are open Saturday hours today (Sunday) with last orders at 11pm.

Tomorrow (Bank Holiday Monday) we open at the slightly earlier time of 2pm, with last orders at 9pm.

Today is the day. We are running a Harry Hour, between 5pm - 7:30pm and it is exactly like a Happy Hour, except:

- we're only doing it for England
- happiness is not compulsory
