Kirkburton Beer Festival The 2026 Kirkburton Beer Festival The Kirkburtonfest is the main fundraising event organised by the Kirkburton Uniformed Groups (Scouts & Guides).

We aim to provide an enjoyable event for the whole community whilst raising funds to keep the group going. This year we will be holding the Beer Festival on Friday 24th May and Saturday 25th May 2024. Friday night will be a pub night including pub quiz and pie and pea supper. Bar open at 3pm-11pm. Saturday will include the village fayre including live entertainment and raffle draw. Bar open 1pm-11pm or until the beer runs out (whichever comes first!), village fayre is 1pm-5pm. Each year we chose another charity to support, this year we have chosen Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust. If you would like to get involved either sponsoring anything from the pumps to the toilets, beer to the live music or volunteering at the event please get in touch.

So the dust has settled over Kirkburton Beer Festival for 2026. Marquees are down, fences back up. Litter picked, bar dismantled and a lot of mopping left to do.

Thank you to all that sponsored and attended, hopefully you enjoyed some of the changes we introduced this year? If you did, please comment what you think worked (or didn’t) so we know should there be a next time.

Thanks to all those volunteers who have put in an hour, a day, a week or those involved for months, all meaning it was one of our most successful events ever. I’m sure they are all catching up on sleep or checking their explosive step count!

We need new volunteers to ensure we can run this event again, we managed it this year, but only just. If you want to be involved in organising, let us know, we have tasks for all specialisms and interests, support and advice will be available.

Cheers!
