Nepal is grieving. Its kitchens abroad are cooking for home.
On 26 August a glacier collapsed on the Nepal–China border and sent a wall of mud and water down the valleys. More than 1,050 people have died. Thousands are still missing. Sixty-two districts are affected.
Across the world, Nepali restaurants are doing what they know how to do: opening their doors and turning the takings into relief. Over the next days we will share every one we can verify — Peterborough, London, Philadelphia, the Bay Area and more.
If you want to give directly, the official appeal is the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund: pmdrf.nchl.com.np
