⚽ FIFA 2026 TOURNAMENT 🎮

Think you’re the best FIFA player in the North East? It’s time to prove it! 🏆

Join us on Sunday 15th November for our first FIFA tournament, played on FIFA 26 exclusively on PS5. 📆

💷 ENTRY

£10 per player
Limited to 16 players
Advance booking through Fatsoma ONLY

🏆 THE PRIZES

The champion will take home:

💷 £100 CASH
🎮 FIFA 27 for PS5

Both prizes are subject to all 16 paid places being sold.

🎮 TOURNAMENT FORMAT

With a full field of 16 players, competitors will be drawn into four groups of four.

Each player will play three group matches, with the top two from each group progressing to the quarter-finals.

From there, it’s straight knockout football:

Quarter-finals → Semi-finals → Final

Two matches will run simultaneously during the group and quarter-final stages. The semi-finals will be played individually before the grand final.

⏱️ MATCHES

Standard matches will last approximately 10 minutes.

The final will be played over six-minute halves.

🎮 EQUIPMENT

All matches will be played on PS5 consoles using FIFA 26.

Consoles, screens and controllers will all be provided: You only need to turn up and play.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 ALL AGES WELCOME

There is no age restriction, but anyone under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the event.

For the princely sum of £32.50, one may enjoy a delightful Mediterranean platter, lovingly prepared by an authentic Mediterranean café approximately three feet away from The QMG Headquarters.. 🚶

Accompanying your culinary feast will be 90 uninterrupted minutes of pints, fizz and mystery fishbowls. Aye it’s basically the same concept as the Greggs one, but this one's probably got olives on, so it's posh 🫒

You shall also be afforded complete control of the musical accompaniment throughout your sitting. Select a tasteful little number to complement your Mediterranean dining experience 🎵

Or hoy fu***ng ‘S Club 7’ on, or whatever. I literally don’t care anymore. It’s entirely your prerogative. Indeed, the individual selecting the worst song of the afternoon shall receive a prize.
