🤠🎶 FROM ISLANDS IN THE STREAM TO DOLLY BY THE SEA!

Calling all Dolly Parton fans!

We’ve got something special lined up at The View, Tynemouth, on Friday 27th November!

The absolutely incredible Andrea is bringing her fantastic Dolly Parton tribute to The View, performing all those songs we know and love. 9 to 5, Jolene, Islands in the Stream… get ready for a proper singalong!

And that’s not all! We’ve got DJ Gary joining us too, and if you’ve been to one of our weddings or parties, you’ll know he certainly knows how to fill a dance floor!

Morning Longsands 🌊🐾

Now the dogs have the full stretch of the beach back, they can definitely work up an appetite!

Coffee machine fired up and calibrated from 8.30 ☕️
Scones are in the oven
Breakfast is underway 🍳
Lunch starts at 12
Afternoon Tea from 12 🫖

Right on the edge of Longsands with front row seats to the sea. The perfect pit stop after a beach walk, for you AND the dog 🐾

Freshly ground Italian roast coffee, speciality teas, matcha… or maybe a cold b**r, crisp c***r or a cheeky cocktail is more your thing 🍹🍺

Morning coffee or afternoon cocktails, there’s always a reason to sit a little longer.

🐾 A little bit more beach to explore from this morning… 🌊

From today, the seasonal dog restrictions on Longsands have finished, so dogs can once again enjoy the full stretch of the beach.

Perfect excuse for a good Longsands walk and, after all that sea air, a pit stop at The View.

Our dog friendly terrace is right on the beach, with beach huts and heat lamps, so you can sit back and enjoy that gorgeous view.

We’re open from 8.30am for drinks, homemade scones and our huge cake display. Cooked breakfast starts at 9am and lunch kicks off from 12pm.

Just fancy a drink? Pop in for one. No need to be eating.

And the dogs don’t miss out either 🐶
Puppuccinos, dog sausages and dog ice cream are all waiting for them.

It’s looking like a lovely day on Longsands, so grab the lead and enjoy the full stretch. 🌊🐾

A great start to the weekend for The View 💚

We’ve won a Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Award 2026, putting us in the top 10% of restaurants worldwide, and we’re currently No.1 restaurant in Tynemouth on Tripadvisor.

A huge thank you to everyone who takes the time to leave us a review. We read them all and they really do mean a lot.

We’re open from 8.30am, the homemade scones are in the oven and there’s fresh coffee, made just right every time ☕️

Whether you fancy breakfast, a coffee or matcha, something sweet, a bite of lunch or fish & chips by the sea, there’s plenty to choose from.

Sit inside by our big floor-to-ceiling windows and watch the sea, or grab a spot outside on our dog-friendly terrace 🐾

📱❤️ COME ON FACEBOOK… CAN WE FIND THEM? ❤️📱

This phone was handed in at The View and we really really want to get it back to its owner.

We’ve kept it charged hoping somebody would ring it and I’ve even brought it home with me for the last week just in case they tried ringing outside our opening hours.

Still no call… but after a week of 4.45am, 5.45am and 6.45am alarms, I feel like the owner’s moved in 😂

Over the years our Facebook followers have been amazing at helping us get lost phones, car keys, bags and all sorts back to their owners… we’ve even managed to reunite a lost pigeon with its owner 😂 I don’t think we’ve been beaten yet, so let’s see if we can do it again with this one ❤️

Does anybody recognise the couple on the screen?? Somebody must know them. Tag them, send them this, share it… whatever it takes to get it in front of the right person 🙏

They may have replaced the phone by now but it’s what’s ON IT that I’d hate them to lose… photos, videos, memories, things that might never have been backed up.

The phone is completely locked 🔒 so don’t worry, it can’t just be claimed by anybody. Whoever it belongs to will need to unlock it when they collect it.

We’ve got other lost property here too, so if you’ve left anything at The View, get in touch or pop in and tell us what you’re missing. We genuinely love getting these things back to people ❤️

PLEASE GIVE THIS ONE A SHARE ❤️ Even if you don’t recognise them, somebody on your friends list might. Let’s get it as far as we can and get this phone back where it belongs 🤞

🐬 Just a quick dolphin heads up… 🐬

We know everyone loves to know when they’re out, and there are two large pods making their way along the coast this morning.

They’re heading towards Cullercoats now, so if you’re out for a walk along the seafront, it’s well worth keeping an eye on the sea. We’re watching them from The View as we speak!

🐬 Dolphin Update! 🐬

They’re just passing The View now and heading towards Cullercoats! 🌊

If you’re anywhere along the seafront, it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on the sea. We know how much everyone loves a dolphin update, so we thought we’d let you know where they are.

Hopefully they’ll hang around for a while or even come back this way, so don’t give up if you don’t spot them straight away!
