The Village Pump The very epitome of cool, vibey, backstreet venue. The kinda place you wish you could find on a late night drive home and wanted to catch an experience.

A place you walk into and go "WOW". That's us, each and every week. And it's always changing! The unique atmosphere of 'The Pump' plays host to professional live music. Friday Folk Guest evenings will return in Spring 2022, when Rosie Upton returns from the forced break. Open Mic Nights are held on the second Friday of every month. All types of music welcome, solo artists, duos, bands or poets reading or reciting. Organised by Jack Bell, these will be free in 2021, but from 2022 the original door price of £3 will return. This is important to note because any money raised is used to cover venue costs. The Pump is also available for hire for a live music events, as the terms of our lease dictate. The venue is also used by bands of various genres for rehearsal and recording purposes. Please get in contact. Anyone wishing to hire the venue for a band rehearsal, recording session, party, meeting or a gig should contact Kieran Moore either by email [email protected]

The first two tours for 2027 are in!

Keeping true to our roots of folk, and indie noise rock.

The Roebucks are a magnificent new explosive, blues-rooted rock with a raw, full-throttle energy that belies their years. their debut album will land in 2027, and we'll be the first to experience it!

But just a few days before that is a DIY project that blurs the line between band and personal confession, a raw and enigmatic expression crafted by Tummyache.

We are getting a bit more indie than usual on 13th November at the Club. I can't wait to see what AQABAmusic do in their stripped back set. We have had glimpses in previous floor spots and it is looking very promising.
