We have finally managed to pull together the final figure from our Dementia UK fundraiser!! Trimdon Village, you are just phenomenal 🥰
Our final fundraising figure, including Gift Aid is £4050 and we truly could not thank you all enough 🫶🏻
The fundraising started with Julie and the team at Darlington Crematorium who liaised with David to donate our first £1000 🩷
Huge thanks go to the artists from Sunday, none of which took a single penny in payment: Jordan Bailey, Live Human Jukebox - Neil & Alice who are Alpha November, Ana Muñoz - Singer, Ian Joseph, Marcus Black!
Without you guys (and the weather) the day really wouldn’t have been what it was.
The Tube Yard finished the evening off perfectly with a great set for practically pennies!!
Fire & Stone did an excellent job serving incredible pizzas. We’ve never had such good feedback 🍕👌🏼
A phenomenally huge thank you goes to Dylan Girvan for ‘braving the shave’ and having his head shaved, the same goes to Joe Hepworth and his crew for cycling to Ripon and back in the blistering heat which must have been horrendous.
Just as many thanks go to every single person and business who donated raffle prizes, and every single person who baked cakes and donated cash/bought raffle tickets (the raffle ticket buyers had David’s head MASHED) 😂😂
And to the family and friends who turned up on the day and worked just as hard as they chilled, we adore each and every one of you.
Finally, we need to thank our staff. Every single person worked their arses off, above and beyond the call of duty, we’re actually surprised the younger staff members have returned to work and weren’t scarred for life after their first proper ‘charity do’ experience 🙈😂😂
It’s been bloody emotional! David has cried over the final figure. 😢
We never expected the day to go as well as it did, it’s a cause so close to our hearts as a family and we truly can’t thank you all enough ❤️
