It's the final day of Pride in Trafford today, which also coincides with IDAHOBIT - International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia. π
We want to take a moment to thank the artists, audiences, sponsors and staff behind the scenes who make Pride in Trafford a bright and beautiful event. β¨
To everyone who has bought a ticket, pulled a pint, stacked a chair, shaken their tailfeather or shared their lived experiences - thank you. It literally doesn't happen without you. ππ½
Our reason for existing is to champion LGBTQ+ arts as a powerful vehicle for expression, representation and social change. We are one, powerful community who unite in solidarity and create a safe space to celebrate and thrive.
But we can't celebrate full equality until our whole community is able to live freely without fear of prejudice and discrimination.
To our trans brothers and sisters - please know that Waterside is, and always will be, a safe environment where you will be held, protected and cherished.
We won't stop amplifying your voices and standing up for your rights. Because they're our rights too. π³οΈββ§οΈ
Until 2027, Trafford. π
