The darker beers are really popular at The Fox at the moment and we’ve had some crackers in lately.

We’ve just put on this fantastic blackberry porter from Elwood’s a multi award winning brewery in Cambridgeshire with over 200 years of brewing experience.

Deliciously deep and fruity, bursting with ripe blackberries for a juicy, aromatic and sharp sweetness, leading to a smooth, full-bodied finish.

So we didn’t get the heat wave that was promised but there’s always a warm welcome here.

As you know we don’t have music or TVs so if football is not your thing then The Fox is a good place to have a beer or three with friends or by yourself.

An interesting one on today for you.

From one of our favourite breweries Wild Horse comes this very refreshing NZ Pilsner.

“Tied by Tides” was brewed by the brewery’s women alongside female trade partners to celebrate International Women’s Day. The crisp, refreshing pilsner showcases the distinct characteristics of NZ hops:

Riwaka
Motueka
Nelson Sauvin

It’s almost like they made it specially for Naomi!

Lovely one from Deya on cask atm.

A hazy pale with a tropical aroma of peaches, nectarines and pineapples followed up by a clean, bitter finish.

We’ve just replenished the fridge and added in some great sours from Vault City, more Thatchers Cider and a lovely ice cream pale from Tiny Rebel.

For the non alcohol drinkers we have lovely new soft drinks from Hartridges along with AF ale and lager from Lakedown and Bristol.

The sun is still shining too - hoppy days!!
