It’s our second birthday! And our friends at have done us a special brew!

They found out our directors Andrew Greaves and were enjoying a pint (or three!) of the long-since continued Honeycomb on cask at Casked Ale House & Ginporium in Rawtenstall when they decided to go into business and create what has become TBN!

So to celebrate they’ve put a very limited quantity into cask and we’re pleased to say it’ll be on sale from 4pm!

If you love it in keg, you’ll REALLY love it in cask!

Plus, don’t forget we’re offering 20% discount on ALL orders between 4pm and 7pm!

It was great to welcome Niklas and Freddy from Kemp‘sche Brau down to Water Street last night so they could introduce their brilliant Pils beer to our customers.

It's been great fun being involved in the process of getting Kemp'sche on draft in the UK and it's fair to say it went down a storm with our punters!

It was brilliant to also see Carmelo from Northern Whisper Brewing Co and our great friends Emma, Simon and Lucy from thebridgebierhuis down to celebrate a brilliant Anglo-German partnership! (The Bridge Bier Huis is also pouring Kemp'sche!)

There was plenty of chat about beer, bar culture in the two countries and, of course, football!

Kemp'sche - which is available on draft thanks to Northern Whisper Brewing Co - is the brainchild of Niklas, Freddy and Burnley Football Club star Louis Jordan Beyer and is inspired by their hometown of Kempen!

It's available in limited stocks at the minute so make sure you get down early for a pint if you want to try it! (Believe us, you won't regret it!)

🗞️ BREAKING NEWS!
We’re absolutely delighted to announce that we’ve been named Pub of the Season for Summer 2026!

It’s really great recognition for our extremely hard-working team, led by our brilliant manager Matt.

🫶🏻 We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us since we opened our doors in September 2024 - you’ve really welcomed us to Todmorden in a way I don’t think we could ever imagine.

👊🏻 And of course, we are judged on the quality and variety of our cask ales primarily so a huge thanks to all our brilliant suppliers who keep the cask menu looking fantastic! (Special thanks to our permanent/semi-permanent cask suppliers Northern Whisper Brewing Co, Tiny Rebel Rooster’s Brewing Co.)

📅 The presentation of the award is taking place from 7pm TOMORROW and we’d love to see as many people down as possible. (Plus we’ll be serving all real ale at just £4 per pint to celebrate!)

🍺 We know how much you guys love the epic Degrees Below the Horizon from and to celebrate Mark brewing up another masterpiece, we’ve invited him along this Saturday for a special launch/meet the brewer event.

🤤 His latest beer - an 8% cryo DIPA called Echoes Through the Void - has been brewed to mark the bicentennial of the Weaver’s Uprising in 1826 and the idea that what came before still shapes what comes next.

With an ABV of 8% and brewed with Mosaic, Krush and Idaho 7, it delivers a layered hop profile of ripe tropical fruit, citrus and soft stone fruit, underpinned by a subtle resinous edge. Full-bodied and smooth, with enough bitterness to keep it balanced and drinkable.

🥳 Plus… we’ve got the first ever (and so far only!) cask of the OG Degrees Below the Horizon which we’re convinced is going to be ridiculously special!

👍🏻 Fun starts at 2pm with free samples and Mark on hand to chat about beer, life and anything else you might fancy!
