Can I please remind everyone that this page is for the OLD TWYFORD INN in Bampton Street...NOT the NEW Twyford Inn on Lowman Green.

This page is purely to share photos and memories from our beloved old local pub and NOT related in any way to the Twyford (Inn on the Green, Prince Regent) 2017 cafe/bistro version!
If you wish to rate the New Twyford then you will have to wait until the owners of the NEW Twyford have the balls to make a page!

After a lengthy chat and a very kind demolition man even going inside the pub to check for us, it seems that the large mirror with the TWYFORD logo has gone walk about. We had already asked Kingstons to please try and save it for the regulars but they say it had gone months ago, pointing the finger at the security and general trespassers.
We implore anyone who has the mirror to return it to people that will appreciate and preserve it for the history of the town. The mirror holds no value other than sentimental and historical as one of the few artefacts from the pub worth saving for prosperity. We are willing to offer a reward for its return so if anyone has any information please do help us.
