A huge thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday night. We honestly didn’t expect quite how busy it would be – the place was absolutely packed from start to finish and the atmosphere was incredible.

We’ve only just recovered! Thank you for your support, your patience at the bar, and for making it such a fantastic night. It’s evenings like that which remind us what a brilliant community we have. We’re lucky to have such amazing customers, even if some of you did leave us wondering whether we needed a bigger pub!

Now that we’ve finally caught our breath, we’re ready for another great afternoon of entertainment.

This Sunday we’re delighted to welcome local legend Jim Thornton & Guests to The Woolpack, featuring the world-famous* Kazoo Chorus.

*World-famous may be stretching it a little, but they’re definitely Tillicoultry-famous.

Live from 3pm, expect great music, plenty of laughs, and the perfect way to round off your weekend.

Most people raise money for charity by running marathons.

Andi has chosen the harder challenge: convincing everyone he actually owns a pair of trainers.

After years spent safely stationed behind a bar or at one, he’s now attempting exercise in aid of Marie Curie. Frankly, we’re as surprised as you are.

Dig deep and donate. Every pound goes to a fantastic cause, and every donation gives Andi one less excuse to stop and find the nearest pub.

🍺 London Glory (4.1%)
A rich amber ale with sweet malt and classic resin hops. Smooth, easy-drinking, and full of character – a bit like that regular who says they’re only stopping for one.

🍺 Ruddles County (4.3%)
A traditional premium bitter with floral hops, soft fruit notes and a satisfying bitter finish. The sort of pint that reminds you why pubs were invented in the first place.

We’ve heard it enough… so THIS SATURDAY from 7pm we’ve got Liam Doyle playing live at The Woolpack — his first time with us, so make sure you give him a proper welcome.

Well now… after 60 years of causing trouble on terraces and in pubs alike, there’s a pale ale celebrating the one and only Geoff Hurst.

And, unless someone proves us wrong (which in pubs they usually try), The Woolpack is the ONLY pub in Scotland pouring the 60 Years of Hurst Pale Ale.
