A little Monday update…

We’re turning Mondays into Takeaway Night at the Rising Sun! Our lunchtime service will run as normal, but in the evenings the kitchen will be closed while we give our fantastic team a well‑earned rest and recruit a second chef to join them.

If you fancy a Monday night at the pub, you can order your takeaway to the pub or bring along your favourite one — and we’ll happily provide plates and cutlery so you can enjoy it with a pub‑bought drink. 🍻

Your support while we strengthen the kitchen team means a lot to us. ❤️ We are looking forward to getting our Mondays back to normal just as soon as we can.

We are pleased to be supporting Thornwell Red and White Juniors Under 9s football team who are planning a trip to Normandy to celebrate 1000 years of history.

Please help them raise the funds to get there by purchasing a raffle ticket in the pub - £1 per ticket - cash only.
