🏆✨ WE HAVE SOME VERY EXCITING NEWS TO SHARE… ✨🏆

After having to keep this one under wraps for a little while, we can finally shout about it…

OUR VERY OWN SHANNON IS A FINALIST FOR THE BII NITAs 2026 RISING STAR AWARD — OPERATIONS! 🥹🏆

The Rising Star Award recognises someone who has shown progression, passion, professional development and the potential to go even further within hospitality — and when we look at Shannon’s journey, we couldn’t be prouder to see her recognised in this way.

Shannon started working in hospitality at just 13 years old and has spent the last 18 years working her way through the industry — from a part time Waitress, to now Operations Manager here at The Woolpack.

But her progression has never just been about job titles.

It’s been about constantly learning, taking on new challenges, developing the people around her, creating new systems and ideas, pushing standards, improving the way we operate and doing everything she can to make The Woolpack better.

And that’s what makes this Rising Star — Operations recognition feel particularly special. 🤩

And whilst this is an individual award, Shannon will be the first to say that she wouldn’t be where she is today without the people around her. ♥️

Our incredible team, customers, suppliers, friends and everyone who has been part of the Woolpack journey has played a part in getting her to this point. 🥹

From a 13 year old waitress to one of just four national finalists in the BII NITAs Rising Star — Operations category.

That’s one hell of a journey. 🤯🏆
