Good afternoon people.
And welcome to COR-BLIMEYS at Bottoms up homebar for the final SANDWICH OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This week's sandwich the 100th sandwich, that's right 100 sandwiches. I started out, with the idea of doing silly sandwiches, but soon started more and more exiting and complicated ones. I've used ingredients I had never eaten before ( venison, ostrich and partridge to name but a few ) let alone cooked.
I've created my own flavours of coleslaw with COR-BLIMEYS very own SLAW-BLIMEY.
Had fun with Christmas themed sandwiches.
And have used an awful lot of PARSLEY.
So back to this week's sandwich, this week I decided to go big....
So I present the......
BIG ONE HUNDRED.
A tiger loaf, sliced horizontaly, and buttered and filled with lots of fried smoked bacon and fried eggs and as always GARNISHED WITH A BIT OF PARSLEY.
So all is left to do is to thank my lovely wife and family for putting up with me over the last 100 weeks and helping me eat the sandwiches.
To thank all you sandwich fans out there, I hope I have inspired you to make your own exiting sandwiches. And a big thank you to the parsley farmers of this wonderful country, without whom the garnish just would not have been the same.

I will still pop back from time to time with some more exiting food, but for now I will have a few Saturdays off.

This week's sandwich is an old favourite of mine and something I haven't eaten in years.
It's something quick and easy and good if you are in a hurry.
We present to you, sandwich fans, the....
Hotdog wrap.
Processed hotdog Frankfurter sausages zapped in the microwave for about a minute and a half and wrapped in a tortilla wrap and served with tomato sauce for dipping, you can also place a couple of slides of processed cheese before wrapping, whichever way please remember to, as always, garnish with a bit of parsley.

Good afternoon people.
It's that time to say welcome to COR-BLIMEYS at Bottoms up homebar for another SANDWICH OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!
I know there's not many left now and the last sandwich will be at the end of the month, but do any of you sandwich fans out there have a suggestion for my final sandwich ( which is sandwich number 100 ) I want to go out with a bang.
But for now let's talk about this week's sandwich. This week we have gone a bit Mediterranean with our flavours, and I've just eaten it and it's very tasty. So here we go,

Chorizo and grilled pepper sandwich.
Sliced Spanish chorizo and grilled green peppers in a sliced focaccia with a red pepper hummus mayonnaise spread and as always garnished with a bit of parsley.

Last week I said I had some news for you all. Well the news is that in a couple of weeks I will be giving up sandwich of the week. This is due to other things going on at the moment. But don't worry sandwich fans I will be popping up from time to time with more food from the COR-BLIMEYS menu.
Any way back to the SANDWICH, and this we have the.....
Kebab.
Soft white pitta bread filled with sliced raw onion, a good helping of kebab meat and a dollop of hot chili mayo. And as always garnished with a bit of parsley.

As it's Saturday that means it's time for SANDWICH OF THE WEEK!!!!!!!!! and this week we have an ingredient we have never used before.
So here we go, we present to you, sandwich fans, the......
Ostrich steak and cheesy garlic and mushroom sauce roll.
Crusty bread rolls, buttered and filled with sliced Ostrich steaks and a cheesy garlic and mushroom sauce and as always garnished with a bit of parsley.
Very tasty. Will definitely eat Ostrich again.

This week's sandwich is a trip back in time, all the way to the 70's and a classic.
Here we go.......
The prawn cocktail sandwich.
Two slices of wholemeal bread, buttered, filled with lettuce, prawns in a sea food sauce ( mayonnaise, tomato sauce, tomato puree and smoked paprika) slices of cucumber and as always garnished with a bit of parsley.

This week love has been in the air with valentine's day. But something else has been in the air too, all those pancakes being tossed. So we decided to combine the two events for this week's sandwich.
COR-BLIMEYS present the....
Valentine's pancake sandwich.
Freshly made pancakes cut into hearts that are used to sandwich chocolate spread and sliced strawberries wit a dash of squirty cream and of course garnished with a bit of romantic parsley.

Today is the Chinese New year, which this year is the year of the dragon. And in true COR-BLIMEYS tradition we will celebrate it with a sandwich.
So happy Chinese new year to all .
Now let us present the.....
Chinese BBQ pork sandwich,
Pieces of belly pork marinated in a Chinese BBQ sauce ( soy sauce, hoisin sauce, Chinese 5 spice, garlic, honey and sugar) grilled and put into crusty bread battons with slices of cucumber and torn basil leaves and garnished with a bit of parsley.
Not bad if I do say so.

Good afternoon people.
Welcome to COR-BLIMEYS at Bottoms up homebar on this Saturday the 3rd of February.
Today is the 65th anniversary of the death of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and Big Bopper.
And to pay tribute to them we will be dedicating this week's SANDWICH OF THE WEEK!!!!!!! To honour them.
As the Don Mclean song says " bye bye miss American pie"
We present to you sandwich fans the.....
American pie.
A slice of brioche loaf placed in the Crimpit with a spoonful of cherry pie filling topped with another slice of brioche and pressed together in the Crimpit then toasted under the grill and then garnished with a bit of parsley.

Tuna melt.
A slice of white farmhouse bread topped with tuna and sweetcorn mayo and grated cheddar cheese and popped under the grill for the cheese to melt and topped with a one sided toasted slice of bread and as always garnished with a bit of parsley.

Mmm mmm tasty.

As we have eaten lots and lots over the Christmas and new year season I've decided to do something light and simple this week.
It's bit of an old school filling but tasty. So sandwich fans here we go and lets present to you the......
Fish paste and cucumber sandwich.
Two slices of buttered white bread spread with potted salmon paste and sliced cucumber and garnished with a bit of parsley.
